Store Manager (China)

Job Purpose

Ensure smooth store operations, manage sales and inventory, and lead the team to achieve revenue and customer service goals.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations and ensure excellent customer service.
Lead and train the sales team to hit sales targets and deliver brand-standard service.
Manage staff schedules, performance, and discipline.
Supervise merchandising, stock levels, and store presentation.
Monitor sales reports and propose actions to boost performance.
Coordinate with HQ and support execution of campaigns, promotions, and events.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and visual standards.

Working hours

Shifts: 8 hours per day (rotating shifts):

Morning shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break).
Evening shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break).

Weekly rest: 1 day/week, arranged by the Store Manager. Days off will avoid weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and public holidays whenever possible.

Academic qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Fashion, Retail, or Hospitality).
Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) or other languages is a strong advantage.
Presentable appearance, honest, and energetic.

Experience

At least 3 year of experience in a retail sales or store management position.
Prior experience in fashion retail or international brands is preferred.
Strong understanding of the fashion industry and consumer behavior in the Chinese market.
